PUBLIC LIBRARIES COMPETITION FOR YEARS 7 AND 8
We are running a competition for the Year 7 or 8 form that joins up the most new members of Hertfordshire Public Libraries by Friday 18th May. For details on joining your local library, which is free of charge, please go to http://www.hertsdirect.org/services/libraries/
As Schools Library Service is soon closing SBS Library is no longer able to loan books for students. Instead students need to arrange such loans individually. Please be aware that there are charges for reservations (60p), Inter Library Loans (£3.00) and postal notifications (50p) but e mail notification is free. All members of Hertfordshire Libraries are given passwords to access a very useful, wide range of online resources free of charge e.g. Britannica Student.
Students should let one of the Library Team know when they become a member so we can record numbers. Some application forms are available from the SBS Library desk or they can be completed online at
